Overview of Research Activities

My research generally revolves around two primary overlapping interests: i) ideology, and ii) competition/social dominance tendencies. I investigate how these two processes influence when and why consumers pursue or neglect socially- or environmentally-sustainable products, brands, and lifestyle choices. I also have secondary research interests in how these processes affect health and self-regulation.

If you'd like more details, I've provided a sample of research questions, and a description of the theories and methods that I use to address them, on this web site.
